Help Nareeman and her Family rebuild their lives
United States
I am Nareeman, a student of information systems, a girl with big dreams that have grown with me despite the harshness of life. But the war in Gaza came and stole everything from me in a single moment… On a dark, hellish night, shells fell over our heads, the ground shook beneath our feet, and the walls crumbled around us. We screamed, running aimlessly, carrying fear on our shoulders and searching for a safe haven in a homeland that no longer knew security.
My mother carried us through the rubble, hiding her tears from us and trying to reassure our trembling hearts. We left our home carrying only our memories, looking back and seeing our dreams burning alongside the crumbling walls.
My university, which was the gateway to the future, was now nothing but rubble, and my school, once filled with voices of hope, was now empty, covered in the dust of war. We lost many relatives and friends: loved ones who left without saying goodbye, and souls who ascended to heaven, leaving our hearts broken.
During the 2008 Al-Furqan War, I lost my father, who was the pillar of our family and our support in this life. After his passing, my mother bore the burden of life alone. She didn’t leave us to hunger or loss. She fought with the help of charities to raise us with dignity despite all the difficulties.
Today, I live with an unshakeable fear… the fear of losing my mother or one of my sisters. I fear that death will take away what remains of my family, that it will uproot us once again.
But despite all the pain, I still believe that hope exists, and that the goodness in people’s hearts will never fade. I launched this campaign with the help of my friend Camille so that we can live again, rebuild what has been destroyed, and gather the pieces of our shattered hearts.
We need your support, your compassionate hearts that sow hope amidst the devastation. Every donation from you is a new life for us, a message of solidarity that gives us the strength to continue. Help us stand again… Thank you to everyone who extends a hand to us, and to everyone who plants hope in us despite the pain of loss.
I am an American raising money for Nareeman, a Palestinian person who seeks to flee Gaza.
Dear friends,
The situation continues to worsen throughout the Gaza Strip, and Nareeman and her family continue to urgently need our support. Starving and living under constant bombardment, they struggle to meet their needs with rising prices among the lack of food and clean water.
Our contributions are what will allow this family to sustain themselves and continue to survive this genocide.
In addition to all of this, Nareeman is still without a phone of her own. A device that, in her situation, is a lifeline. She cannot reach out to the outside world for support, when this is the only way for her and her family to meet their basic needs. With a phone costing a pretty penny in Gaza, around $1000, Nareeman will choose to eat over purchasing a phone. That is, unless we band together with the support necessary to make this happen for her.
Furthermore as a university student, Nareeman needs her phone to study. Students in Gaza suffer conditions that lack in books, notebooks and the basic essentials of learning. Online is her only option, but this leaves her also having to pay hourly for internet. With determination unparalleled, she continues to pass her exams while surviving horrible atrocities every day.
We call on anyone with the means to please contribute for Nareeman and her family’s survival!

Beginning during the ceasefire in March 2025, Gaza borders were sieged and all shipments were hauled to over two months. 1-in-5 Palestinians are facing starvation, with the rest of Gaza’s residents facing high levels acute food insecurity. Understand this if not anything else, Nareeman has more than 5 family members that this mutual aid campaign provides for. The amount of aid trucks allowed in Gaza is 1% of the amount required to decrease famine levels (Al Jazeera, 2025). Further examples of starvation violence weaponized against the people of Gaza is the bomb and firearm attacks by occupation forces during aid distribution. On June 14, 2025, after the 5 day internet blackout, Nareeman reported one of these attacks, “My brother went today to get flour from the aid, but unfortunately, the occupation forces dropped bombs on the Palestinians and a horrific massacre occurred there. My brother miraculously survived.”
The need to provide mutual aid grows with urgency and she needs a new phone! Nareeman’s lack of a phone has been obstacle in access to university work, communication, and aid. Obviously she is also going to need enough to feed her family and herself; she is not going to prioritize purchasing a phone over nourishing her family. The food costs in North Gaza inflated to a rate of over 600 Shekels for a bag of flour and 50 for tomato’s. As a resident of North Gaza, Nareeman and her family are under evacuation orders. Occupation forces senseless violence is continuous. North Gaza has continuously faced the most consistent famine and blockade of aid since October 7, 2023. Thank Allah, as of June 25 2025, Nareeman and her family are uninjured from these criminal assaults.
The most efficient way to raise enough to meet Nareeman’s needs is through collective efforts. By engaging in donating and/or sharing fundraisers, you have participated in this collective effort! Nareeman is truly a tender young woman who consistently receives better grades than myself and most other university students I know who cannot even fathom the adversity she faces to do so. Her kindness, determination, and steadfastness shown through her actions, keep the flame of my hope alive. Regardless of the qualities or accomplishments someone has achieved, I implore you to invest in human life and act to Free Palestine. No amount is too small to make a difference. Let’s come together for Nareeman and her family!

Hello friends,
Recently, the UN announced the last of their food rations in Gaza had been delivered to the hot kitchens that have been feeding 50% of the population. These kitchens are now out of food, and no new food is available. Market Prices for food, water and other necessities have skyrocketed even higher than before and food is becoming scarcer by the day.
We are happy to say that Nareeman is still passing her exams, despite all of the hardship her and her loved ones are facing. If you’d like to, please gift to celebrate her determination and help to feed Nareeman’s family.
Despite the destruction of her university and home, the constant bombardment of the occupation and forced starvation, Nareeman perseveres and refuses to let go of her future. A girl of huge dreams and oceans of strength and resilience, she will not give up on her goals! She will not be stopped!
Thank you for the support that has been shown to Nareeman! Let’s keep showing up so this family can be safe and provided for. Let’s help Nareeman rebuild the future and the career she’s always dreamed of, that was stolen so cruelly from her.
